Welcome to Reach. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Reach mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Reach ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register:
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We use Auth0 for secure authentication. By creating an account, you also agree to Auth0's terms of service.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our consent
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service
3.2 AI-Powered Features
The Service uses artificial intelligence to facilitate connections and conversations. You understand that:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
- AI is used to help match users based on stated intentions and preferences
- You should verify any important information received through the Service
- AI features are continuously improving and may change over time
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Reach and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:
- Breach of these Terms
- Conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service
- Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any matches or connections will result in successful relationships
- Users are who they claim to be
- AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reach and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
